And so here it is: Steam Frame; Valve's second in-house VR headset following 2019's Index, featuring a boosted spec sheet, PC-to-headset streaming, and the ability to function standalone. It is, if you don't mind spoilers, a good, often great bit of kit, and a fascinating machine - it's lightweight and wonderfully comfortable, with some neat ideas, and it's a pleasure to use if you're doing PC-to-VR. As a standalone device, though, I have reservations, and there's a sense that it's perhaps not quite ready for prime time.
